Our farm was established by David's great-grandparents, Charles F. and Alice Ferrell in 1898. Our farm house was built by Charles in 1900. They raised two children in this home and we are the 4th generation of Ferrell's to work the land and live in the house.
Many of the brick were fired and hand-made here on the farm. The lumber was actually cut and milled here as well.
The C.F. Ferrell farm has produced many crops over the years: Tobacco, corn, soybeans, and cattle. We currently produce soybeans and run a commercial beef cow/calf operation.
Our family friend, Craig Hilliard, has partnered with us for 12 years and is a vital part of our holiday operations.
It is our pleasure to open our farm to the public during the fall and winter seasons. Please enjoy your visit and let us know how we can be of assistance.
Welcome to our home!
David, Beth, and Sarah Ferrell
